Michelle Heaton is among the long list of celebrities who have escaped the April chill in search of some springtime sun. The former Liberty X singer, 42, has been documenting her trip to Mexico on Instagram, where she has indulged her 306,000 followers with fun-filled snaps and videos of the getaway. Michelle, who has bravely opened up about finding sobriety, revealed that the trip marks her first sober holiday.
Having jetted off to Cancun with her husband Hugh and their children Faith, 10, and AJ, eight, the star has been relishing every moment of the lavish trip. After landing in the sunny location at the beginning of the month, the mum-of-two looked radiant as she posed on a beach in a purple sports bra and contrasting yellow cycling shorts. She joked: “Turn me on mute if u dont Wanna see fun happy photos”. Michelle, who recently underwent breast reconstruction surgery, also took the time to outline how momentous the trip was for her after she initially booked the sweet escape three years ago. She added: “My first sober holiday.
My first holiday in 3 years. My first sunrise after a sleep. My first time in swim wear post my breast surgery.” Elsewhere on the trip, Michelle kept her fans updated as she shared pictures of her family enjoying time in the sunshine at the beach and the pool.
