‘Indiana Jones’ TV Series in the Works for Disney+

EXCLUSIVE: As HBO Max’s Dune: The Sisterhood (wt) moves into production, series creator and writer Diane Ademu-John is stepping down as co-showrunner. She will remain creatively involved in the prequel as executive producer but will focus on other commitments. Veteran TV writer-producer Alison Schapker, who has served as co-showrunner with Ademu-John, will now be the sole showrunner for the series.

When moviegoers head to theaters to experience Indiana Jones 5, they will see a “de-aged” Harrison Ford, according to director James Mangold.

With more info about “Indiana Jones 5” coming out recently, there’s much speculation about the upcoming blockbuster. Fans now know a couple of new things now, like the film taking place in 1969.

As 2022 draws to a close, Hollywood prepares to give its big 2023 films a nice boost in previews. And no film has had a bigger boost in the past week than “Indiana Jones 5,” ready to hit theaters next June.

Directed by James Mangold (“Ford v Ferrari,” “Logan”), the trailer for the fifth “Indiana Jones,” still technically untitled but colloquially known as “Indiana Jones 5” for now, is right around the corner. And you can tell because Lucasfilm—who debuted a thrilling but mostly detail-free trailer at Comic-Con this summer— is finally letting some details out of the bag in the lead-up to its release, which may be next week.

It’s been nearly fifteen years since Harrison Ford last donned Indiana Jones’ iconic fedora in “Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.” And that film left the character on a high note, with Jones happily married to Karen Allen‘s Marion Ravenwood.
