In ‘The White Lotus’ Season 2 Trailer Dark Secrets Come To Light

One of the big surprises on TV last year was HBO‘s “The White Lotus.” After the show won over critics and audiences last summer, it was greenlit for a second season in August 2021. But then the show went from a critical favorite to an award sensation, earning twenty Emmy nominations for its first season and winning ten awards.

The White Lotus creator Mike White is already thinking about the HBO show’s Season 3, even on the red carpet for Season 2.

“Feud”, Ryan Murphy’s historical anthology, is finally back with season 2. After a five-year gap, the FX series returns with an all-new, star-studded installment called “Capote’s Women”, with the focus on the falling out between notorious writer Truman Capote and several of his female friends, including Ann Woodward, Babe Paley, CZ Guest, Gloria Guinness, Joanne Carson and Slim Keith.

The first trailer for HBO Max’s The White Lotus season two just debuted online!

HBO knew they had a critical hit when they released “The White Lotus” last July, but they probably didn’t expect it to end up being the most-awarded series at the Emmys this year.  Mike White‘s limited series cleaned up at the awards ceremony last month, notching Outstanding Limited Or Anthology Series, among others. Good thing that the next installment of episodes is right around the corner, just in time for the 75th Emmys next year.

And based on the footage revealed in the extended preview for the newest installment in creator Mike White’s anthology series, she couldn’t be more correct. A tragicomedy about the overlapping lives of guests and employees at a luxury resort, is back with another social satire as the story moves from Hawaii to Sicily.
