Idris Elba is getting support from his wife on his big night.
The 50-year-old actor was joined by wife Sabrina Elba at the premiere of his new Netflix movie Luther: The Fallen Sun on Wednesday evening (March 8) held at the Paris Theater in New York City.
Director Jamie Payne was also in attendance along with cast members Thomas Coombes, Andy Serkis with wife Lorraine Ashbourne, and Dermot Crowley.

Luther has frequently been spotlighted for its graphic violence against female victims – something that supposedly worried the streaming giant.According to Luther writer and creator Neil Cross, as reported by LadBible, Netflix were worried about the original script being too “frightening” for audiences as it opened with a female victim.
