Major supermarket Iceland has been slammed by shoppers for a detail in the small print after the retailer announced it would be selling 400 of its most popular items for 1p until next week. Food included in the 1p sale includes: burger buns, ice cream cones and fizzy drinks, as well as a selection of fresh, frozen and grocery items.
The 1p sale kicked off this morning, but it wasn't long before shoppers were left furious. Shoppers were excited for the offer until they realised that it's only available online, and not in stores.
People have also been left bitter about the minimum £40 spend required to get free delivery, and feel that it is 'unfair' to those who can't afford it. Here's what Manchester Evening News readers had to say on Facebook.
