Supermarket giant Iceland has issued a one-day warning to shoppers across the UK. As the price of living continues to increase, many shoppers are struggling to afford all of the essentials they need at the supermarket.
As a result, people have been limiting how much they buy, and in some cases, have been putting items back after hitting a limit of £20.
It's becoming a national crisis, and Iceland has stepped in to help. The supermarket's ‘Summer Cheer’ campaign will allow eligible residents in 17 parts of the country to claim a £30 voucher for food and other essentials.

But the offer is set to end this week, so eligible pensioners will only have until this Friday, September 16, to claim the voucher. To qualify for the voucher, you must be a resident over 60 who is living independently or with a carer, and who relies solely on a state pension or benefits.
Eligible residents can use their £30 voucher alongside Iceland's existing Tuesday discount - which gives pensioners a further 10% off their shops in order to help their money go further. The campaign is running across 17 areas nationwide with the highest proportion of poorer pensioners:
Richard Walker, managing director of Iceland Foods, said: "Since the launch of the partnership last Christmas, the cost of living crisis has taken hold of the UK, and now more than ever, people are struggling to access the food they need.
"No one should ever have to worry about how they are going to eat or drink, and we hope that the support we can offer across the UK will help pensioners access and enjoy a worry free meal during this time."
