Ian Evatt on why pressure is more on Aston Villa than Bolton Wanderers in Carabao Cup upset hope

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt feels there is more pressure on Aston Villa than his side in the Carabao Cup this evening as he hopes the Whites can produce an upset and knock out top flight opponents.
The Whites host the Villans at the University of Bolton Stadium this evening with the aim of producing an upset and dumping the top flight side out of the competition. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
The reward for victory is passage to the third round and the prospect of another top flight side. The next stage is where teams involved in European competitions enter the fray.

Evatt believes there is more pressure on Steven Gerrard's side at the UniBol this evening owing to the top flight status of the visitors. The Bolton boss respects the team they will come up against but believes the Wanderers players will have a freedom about themselves as they are not the ones expected to proceeds and the weight of expectation will be off them as they seek to cause a cup upset.
He said: “I think it’s a great opportunity for the whole club to showcase what we’ve got now and where we’ve come from. We’re excited by it, it’s a good game to have, a big crowd, on the TV, against Premier League opposition, a household name as a manager so it’s fantastic for us, but the league is our bread and butter and our full focus is really on that and this is really a free hit to go out there and show everyone what we can do and see where that takes us.
