Ant McPartlin was told to ‘stop talking’ by Declan Donnelly after he was quizzed about the upcoming all-stars series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on This Morning. The Geordie duo were doing the rounds on Thursday, promoting their new children’s book Propa Happy in association with the NSPCC. But while chatting to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, they were soon asked about the future of I’m A Celebrity, which has been running for nearly 20 years.
After confirming a return to Australia, they gave the first bit of insight into the additional all-stars series, which is set to be filmed in South Africa this summer. However, after Ant got a bit too excited about the concept, Dec warned him to be quiet as he let slip some details about the spin-off. Holly weighed in, calling it an ‘amazing idea’ and asked why it had never been done before.
Ant replied: ‘Well, I don’t know why it’s never been done before!‘It’s a spin-off from the main show, where we have ex-campmates who’ve all come together in South Africa, competing in challenges and trials. ’He quickly turned to his co-host and said: ‘Should I keep talking?’Dec reminded him: ‘I don’t think you should, I think this is a secret!’However, as Ant continued to spill the gossip, Dec replied: ‘He’s gone again, he can’t stop talking!’, with his colleague insisting the viewers ‘want to know. ’Fans still have no clue who will be entering the jungle for a second spell, with things being kept tightly under wraps.
