The trailer for this year's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! has been released as the show is finally set to make its return to Australia. Ahead of the popular contest being back on our screens in November, the teaser trailer was shown in an ad break during Friday night's Emmerdale.
In the short clip, a helicopter can be seen flying through the clouds as one of the show's presenters, Declan Donnelly, 46, can be heard saying: "Where is the luggage going?" His presenting partner Ant MacPartlin, 46, replies: "It's meeting us there," as a suitcase is thrown from the aircraft. The clip then cuts to a shot of the suitcase plummeting to the ground as the plush green of the Australian jungle can be seen below and the show's famous theme tune starts to play.The long-running programme had been set in Australia for 18 years up until the Covid-19 pandemic hit in 2020, when it was filmed at Gwrych Castle in Wales.
Fans of I'm A Celebrity will no doubt be ecstatic at its return to its original home, with a fresh line-up of celebrities set to face their fears and living without luxuries for a few weeks.
