A raging stalker harassed his ex and then told her new partner that he'd cut his head off. Dominic Marshall had been in a relationship with the 26-year-old woman since she was 19, before she broke up with him following allegations that he'd been 'controlling'.
After their split in March, Marshall began stalking her. He would walk up and down her street, send flowers to her home and turn up at the shop where she worked.
On one occasion, Marshall, 27, arrived at her work and said he needed to speak with her. She told him to go away but a few days later she saw him again near the shop in Salford precinct.

Marshall also threatened to 'slit his throat' and said "I'll get my revenge', Mr Wilcock said. The victim now is stressed 'all the time' and has started leaving work early to try and avoid him, which affects his wages.
Marshall's ex said she constantly looks over her shoulder, and is thinking about moving away. Defending, Andrew Marsh said at the time Marshall thought he was being 'nice' by sending flowers, and that he was interested in 'saving' his long term relationship.
But now he realises his behaviour was 'extremely distressing' and is remorseful, Mr Marsh said.
