Manchester United supporters are optimistic that Brandon Williams will get an opportunity to prove his worth to Erik ten Hag next season.
The left-back has spent this season on loan at Norwich City, who were promoted to the Premier League last term, in a bid to secure regular first-team football. After struggling to earn regular minutes under former Canaries boss Daniel Farke, Williams has become a more regular fixture under Dean Smith, who was appointed as the German's replacement in November.
Although Williams is facing the disappointment of adding a relegation to his CV, he has produced some encouraging performances this season, suggesting that he has the potential to become a seasoned Premier League player. Big changes are to be made at United this summer and Williams has admitted that he has aspirations of breaking into Ten Hag's plans.

Williams said: "What I want to do next year is play for Manchester United at left back and that's my job. That's what I'm determined to do because it's my life and I'll do anything for that.
"I know I can play in this league, and I know I can get to the top and that's what I want to do."
Having set his sights on becoming a regular fixture at Old Trafford next term, United's supporters have reacted to the defender's hopes of forcing his way into Ten Hag's plans. Neither Luke Shaw or Alex Telles have nailed down the left-back berth this season and have each attracted frequent criticism.
