Police discovered huge knives on six youths arrested at a tram stop tonight (March 22).
Six youths were stopped at Cornbrook tram station just outside Manchester City Centre and arrested for a number of offences. This included suspicion to commit robbery, a public order offence, and possession of bladed articles, according to police.
Police have shared images of two of the knives seized with both blades in excess of 15cm. The arrested six are currently in custody, police say.

A GMP Stretford post said: "Earlier tonight, #GMPTransportUnit deployed at #CornbrookMetrolink, have arrested 6 youths on suspicion conspiracy to commit robbery, Racial Public Order and possession bladed articles. These offenders await interview in custody."

took to social media to remind fans to wear sunscreen after undergoing two biopsies for basal cell carcinoma.“I wanted you to hear it from me just in case someone sees me on the street or whatever,” Jackman, 54, who was wearing a bandage on his nose, said in the video posted Monday.He continued, “I’ve just had two biopsies done. I just went to my doctor … and she just saw little things, could be or could not be basal cell, in her opinion. She doesn’t know.”The “Greatest Showman” star assured his fans that he’ll find out about the results in two to three days and will let them know what he finds out.He made sure to note that basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is “the least dangerous” skin cancer.BCC is the most common form of skin cancer and the most frequently occurring form of all cancers, according to the Skin Cancer Foundation.
