Howard Stern has compared Kanye West to Adolf Hitler following the rapper's antisemitic outbursts. On Wednesday’s episode of The Howard Stern Show, the radio presenter spoke on the rapper’s recent tirade against members of the Jewish community. Kanye has faced backlash after writing on Twitter that he would go “death con 3 on Jewish people”, misreferencing the United States military term DEFCON 3.

West has courted controversy in recent weeks for making antisemitic statements, most recently in an interview with Chris Cuomo where the rapper cited the “Jewish underground media mafia.” Stern compared West to Hitler and criticized his defenders who cite mental health issues as the source of West’s antisemitic behavior. “I almost don’t want to give any energy to this Kanye West character,” Stern said. “I don’t know much about Kanye West. I’m not big into the rap scene, but, he is, you know — I’m really tired of people excusing his behavior, by saying, ‘Well, he’s just mentally ill.'”
