In a new Esquire cover story on “The Last of Us” and “The Mandalorian” actor, Paulson revealed that she helped financially support Pascal in the early 2000s when he was still struggling to make it as a working actor. Paulson would some times give Pascal the money she made as part of her acting per diem so that he could feed himself. However, only Moses Brings Plenty, Dawn Olivieri, Josh Lucas and Wendy Moniz were in attendance, along with Keith Cox, president of development and production at Paramount Network.The absence of Costner, Sheridan, Glasser, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, Kelsey Asbille, Wes Bentley, Gil Birmingham and Jacki Weaver at the event was said to be due to «scheduling conflicts.» The event was first announced in mid-January.Cox did not speak to reporters at PaleyFest but did address Costner's future on the series when he took the stage at the Dolby Theatre.

Since its premiere in 2019, “The Mandalorian” has shocked “Star Wars” fans, starting, of course, with the reveal of the oh-so endearing Grogu (aka Baby Yoda) in Season 1, followed by the appearance of Luke Skywalker in Season 2. The show is set after the fall of the Empire and follows Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pascal) as he protects Grogu and tries to reunite Mandalorians alongside Bo-Katan Kryze (Sackhoff).
