An all-star cast including Lady Gaga, Jared Leto and Adam Driver star in the new crime drama House of Gucci but while the movie has received positive reviews, the Guccis themselves aren't too pleased. The film – based on the 2001 book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour and Greed by Sara Gay Forden – peeks inside the life of the infamous Gucci family and how one ambitious woman triggers a spiral of betrayal, revenge and murder.

The Gucci family is back in the news with the early success of Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci, and Dateline NBC is presenting a special this week that looks at the clan’s business and the real murder portrayed in the film.

“House of Gucci” is now in theaters and people are absorbing the over-the-top cast doing their best (and sometimes not-so-good attempts at) Italian accents as they portray the opulent Gucci family. Though critics have either been in love with the choices on-screen or absolutely against the campy nature of the performances, the Gucci family itself is not happy.
