The Beehive pub and carvery in Horwich will not re-open today — due to torrential rain over the weekend leaving much of the premises flooded.
Wet weather on Sunday (May 16) meant that much of the area around the pub — including the Beehive roundabout — was submerged under floodwater.
The flooding was so extreme that cars had to be towed away from the roundabout having become stuck by the emergency

Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has resumed a review of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claimants to identify those who may be due backdated benefits as a result of a change in the law.
