Ever since the very first episode of Deadline’s New Hollywood Podcast with actor Sinqua Walls, the New Hollywood Podcast celebrates Black culture and talent 12 months out of the year. February is Black History Month so we like to put extra shine on Black Hollywood and recognize the achievements of the community and how they have paved the way and pushed the needle further when it comes to diversity and representation in film & TV.

Stacey Abrams, Ziwe Fumudoh and Nicole Byer are among the cultural figures and notable creators set to appear in YouTube Originals’ Black History Month Celebration, Black Renaissance. Also joining the YouTube special are H.E.R., Anderson .Paak, Kelly Rowland, Bob the Drag Queen, Maurice Harris, Yung BBQ, TwinsthenewTrend, Sherrie Silver, Oumi Janta, Donté Colley and Hollywood Movement.

Bullet Train.As reported by Deadline, the Oscar-winning actor has joined Brad Pitt, Lady Gaga, Zazie Beetz, Brian Tyree Henry, Joey King, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Andrew Koji, Masi Oka and Michael Shannon for the film.The script, written by Zak Olkewicz, is based on Japanese author Kotaro Isaka’s novel Maria Beetle.

ABC Owned Television Stations The eight stations (in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, Raleigh-Durham and Fresno) will each air local premium content for Black History Month.
