Nicole Kidman is skipping the annual Oscars Nominees Luncheon this year.
Variety writes that the 54-year-old actress, who’s nominated for her fifth Oscar for her work in Being the Ricardos, is at home in Nashville recovering from an injury.

The outlet states that she was filming her upcoming Amazon series Expats in Los Angeles when the pre-existing injury flared up, leading her doctor to recommend she stay home.
The series is set to continue filming this week but will temporarily halt production while producers decide when they can resume or if they need to shoot around Nicole until she recovers.
Based on Janice Y. K. Lee’s best selling 2016 novel The Expatriates, Expats follows a group of three expatriate women living in Hong Kong. The show is directed by Lulu Wang and also stars Sarayu Blue as Hilary Starr, Jack Huston as David Starr, Brian Tee as Clarke and Ji-young Yoo as Mercy.
