She said goodbye to the cobbles four years ago, but former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has teased that she could make a return to the ITV soap. Helen played Rosie Webster on Corrie from 2000 to 2012, before making a brief return in 2017. And speaking exclusively to OK!, the 32 year old says that she isn’t ruling out stepping back into Rosie’s shoes.
“I’d love to go back to Coronation Street at some point,” she says of her time on the show, which saw her nominated for British Soap Awards for Best Dramatic Performance From A Young Actor and Villain Of The Year. “I think it’s obvious that everything I do work-wise just works around the kids. So yeah, probably when Charlie gets a little bit older, maybe.
"But I think while he’s young and Charlie’s like my last – unless I have another one when I’m a lot older. So I really want to enjoy that baby stage. I don’t want to miss out.” Helen exited the soap in 2018, just before she had her second daughter, Delilah, four.
She and footballer fiancé Scott Sinclair are also parents to daughter Matilda, seven, and son Charlie, 18 months.They have been together since 2009 and got engaged in 2018 in Disneyland Paris and are now busy planning their 2024 wedding. And it seems for now at least that their family is complete, with Helen admitting she doesn’t think she could face going through another pregnancy after suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum. The medical condition sees women experiencing extreme sickness, nausea and weight loss, which the Princess of Wales among those who has suffered from it.
