Tributes have been paid to a former Salford Red Devils player who died getting caught in a rip tide.
David Fell was pulled from the sea in North Yorkshire after getting into difficulty in the water on Thursday (July 22).
Emergency services, including the coastguard, were called to the tragic incident at Reighton Sands in Filey at around 2.45pm, Yorkshire Live reports.
