Salford yesterday (Saturday January 2). Officers said that the "manner it was being driven" aroused suspicion so it was stopped.
The driver then allegedly told police that he was "taking a few boxes of goods to some shops in Cheetham Hill ". Upon searching the car, officers discovered boxes of counterfeit goods in the boot.
Further checks also revealed that the driver was uninsured and police seized the car under section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
