Additionally on “Fire,” Taylor Kinney is on a temporary leave of absence from the show due to a personal matter. He made his last appearance during the Feb. 22 episode.

But if he said ‘I have two more seasons in me,’ I would have said yes.”He added, “I would have taken more, but generally speaking, that is the kind of thing you want to leave to a creator.

Talking to Variety, Bloys hinted the network was at least hoping to get two more seasons out of Armstrong.“I would have taken more, but generally speaking, that is the kind of thing you want to leave to a creator,” said Bloys.
