Rupert Grint has revealed he would return to his role of Harry Potter's Ron Weasley for a big screen adaptation of spin off play The Cursed Child.The 33 year old, who recently had a reunion with cast mates for The Return to Hogwarts, appeared on Good Morning Britain to discuss TV show Servant when he was asked about a possible reprisal of JK Rowling's Ron. Richard Arnold, 52, brought the topic up on 20 January as he said: "Of course we couldn't let him go without finding out if he sees a future back in the bosom of the Weasley family with the potential big screen adaptation of spin off play The Cursed Child.

Appearing on screen wearing a black and brown jacket with a white shirt underneath, Rupert replied: "I can't really think of a reason not to really, I love that character, I love that world. "It's a huge part of my life.
I feel this kind of ownership of Ron in a weird way. Although I loved seeing the play, it was a real thrill seeing someone else take that body over." Rupert, who welcomed his first child Wednesday with Georgia Groome in May 2020, added: "But yeah, if the others did, I think yeah."
