Harry Potter's Percy Weasley actor proposes to long-term girlfriend in Florida

Chris Rankin, best known for his role as Percy Weasley in the hit films Harry Potter, has shared the happy news that he has proposed to long-term girlfriend Nessa Beecroft. The actor, 38, took to his Instagram to share the news with his 55.4k followers as he posted a picture of the two of them in Florida, where he popped the question, and they were all smiles as Nessa showed off her ring. Chris grinned as he took the selfie and he wore a colourful flowery shirt and sunglasses while Nessa stood behind her fiancé with her hand proudly on his shoulder to show fans the ring.
She had a huge smile on her face and also wore sunglasses while standing in the Florida sun. Chris shared a funny caption to announce the news as he wrote: “Happy News! I asked @nessa_beecroft if she fancied upgrading to fiancée, and she seemed ok with the idea” followed by a black heart emoji. Actress Megan Flockhart was quick to share her congratulations with the couple.
She wrote: “Ahhhh CONGRATS YOU TWO!!” followed by two red heart emojis and a high five emoji. Fellow Harry Potter star Scarlett Heffner, who played Slytherin student Pansy Parkinson, also took to the comments box as she said: “Congratulations to you both!!” Actress Tessa Netting Moses also commented, first saying: “AHHHHHHH” followed by: “I’M CRYIN”. Fans also rushed to the post to send their best wishes to the pair.
