The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be in conversation to try and edit their Netflix docuseries in order to delay its release. Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan Markle, 41 are filming a $100million series about their lives with Netflix and it was previously thought to be scheduled for a December release, following The Crown series five going live on November 9.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have found themselves near the bottom of the list of the Royal Family.The pair, who wed in 2018, have recently returned to the UK and prolonged their stay in the wake of Her Majesty the Queen’s death.There were hopes of reconciliation between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the royals during their stay, but a thinly veiled swipe appears to have since been made via the Royal Family’s official website. While the pair haven’t been working royals for some time now, they had remained reasonably high up on the rankings on the website, sitting in the middle below the likes of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

With the release of Netflix’s fifth season of The Crown in a matter of weeks, sources close to the new King suggest the palace is moving to protect the monarchy from the dramatisation. Over the weekend, streaming giant Netflix released a trailer for the upcoming fifth season of The Crown, which showed Princess Diana and Prince Charles preparing for TV interviews about their relationship.

A not-so-united front. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not join the royal family to meet with world leaders ahead of Queen Elizabeth II‘s funeral on Sunday, September 18, after seemingly being uninvited.

The Prince Harry and Meghan Markle drama continued into the weekend as it wasn’t clear if the Sussexes would be attending a pre-funeral reception at Buckingham Palace on the eve of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.  The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who settled in California after stepping down as senior royals in 2020 – reportedly initially received an invitation to the Sunday evening reception, but conflicting reports said they were and weren’t expected to attend.  According to the Telegraph, they have now been uninvited because palace officials insisted that the reception hosted by King Charles III and Camilla, the queen consort, is only for working royals, which Harry and Meghan are not. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined the royal family as Queen Elizabeth II's coffin was received at Buckingham Palace Tuesday after departing the RAF Northolt Airforce station in Ruislip, England.  Queen Elizabeth II died Thursday at the age of 96. She was the longest-reigning monarch in British history, and the second longest-reigning monarch in the history of the world.  The hearse arrived to cheers outside of Buckingham Palace as the streets of London were lined with mourners.

The emotional journey of the Queen's coffin from Balmoral, where Her Majesty died aged 96 last Thursday, to Buckingham Palace will continue on Tuesday 13 September. After making its journey from her Scottish estate to the Palace of Holyroodhouse on Sunday, the procession of Queen Elizabeth II's coffin to St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh took place on Monday.The coffin is expected to be flown to London on Tuesday. A rehearsal for the procession of the hearse from Buckingham Palace to the Palace of Westminster will be completed, ahead of the state funeral of Britain's longest reigning monarch on 19 September.

King Charles made a poignant reference to Prince Harry and his wife Meghan during his first speech to the nation since his mother The Queen’s death on Thursday. In the televised address to the nation, he paid tribute to his wife Camilla, his son and now heir to the throne Prince William, and to his youngest child, Prince Harry, who has experienced a rocky relationship with his father in recent months.

The King and Queen Consort Camilla have landed back in London after they left Balmoral this morning. A plane carrying the King and Queen Camilla landed at RAF Northolt in west London around 13.34pm on Friday – Charles' first time on English soil since becoming monarch.
