Prince Harry and Meghan Markle relocated to America back in 2020 after stepping down from Royal duties, and the couple now live in California with their two young children. However, Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, also have a residence in the UK, Frogmore Cottage, which they now lease from the new reigning monarch and Harry's father, King Charles III, 73. Frogmore Cottage is part of Home Park in Windsor, and was previously made up of five separate properties but was converted into one five-bedroom home in 2019 for the Sussexes.

Just when a reconciliation between the Cambridges and the Sussexes looked to be on the cards, a new book with fresh bombshell revelations about the Duchess of Sussex’s behaviour towards staff may have set things back. The Prince Harry and Meghan Markle drama continued into the weekend as it wasn’t clear if the Sussexes would be attending a pre-funeral reception at Buckingham Palace on the eve of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.  The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who settled in California after stepping down as senior royals in 2020 – reportedly initially received an invitation to the Sunday evening reception, but conflicting reports said they were and weren’t expected to attend.  According to the Telegraph, they have now been uninvited because palace officials insisted that the reception hosted by King Charles III and Camilla, the queen consort, is only for working royals, which Harry and Meghan are not.
