‘Hanna’ & ‘Insidious: Chapter 3’ Star Dermot Mulroney To Lead Action Thriller ‘Ruthless’ — AFM

Paramount Pictures has made two more major tweaks to its release schedule, moving the next film in its Scream franchise up from March 31 to March 10, 2023 while pushing back the starry Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves from March 3 to March 31, 2023. Both titles will open in theaters nationwide.

The Quad alongside Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor and his production shingle Bach Enterprises has set July 10 as their official start date for their next project “Miles Ryder Part One,” the companies announced on Thursday.The feature film “Miles Ryder Part One” is described as a “John Wick” meets “Nobody”-style action thriller and centers on Miles Ryder, an everyday man who is forced to confront his mysterious and violent past, which he has long kept secret. After a brutal attack threatens to expose him and his hidden past, Ryder’s hidden combat talent and almost supernatural fighting abilities are put to the test as he attempts to save his family and potentially the world from a dark force with a nefarious motive.“Mortal Kombat’s” Greg Russo wrote the screenplay and is continuing to work on the project with the team.The character is based on a short that Bachelor wrote, directed, and starred in, off of which he and his team worked closely with the Quad and its team to develop the action film, which is being eyed as the first in a franchise.Ryan Kavanaugh, Amy Kim and Jaime Burke will be producing from the Quad alongside Andrew Bachelor, Christina Bachelor, and Gary Glushon will produce via Bach Enterprises.

British actor Mark Strong (Kingsman) has signed on to star opposite Joel Kinnaman in the action thriller The Silent Hour for AGC Studios and Meridian Pictures.

Paris has an international fan base, and “Blackwater Lane” is the first film produced from her books. Filming has now begun in Suffolk, U.K., with Jeff Celentano (“The Hill”) directing.
