Halsey joins cast of ‘National Anthem’ alongside Sydney Sweeney

Today, Universal Pictures announced that Christopher Nolan’s atomic bomb film “Oppenheimer” has officially started production with multiple locations in the U.S., such as New Mexico, California, and New Jersey. The project has an ambitious budget of $100 million and will be heading to theaters the summer of 2023.

Universal has unveiled a first-look photo from Christopher Nolan’s anticipated thriller Oppenheimer, starring Cillian Murphy, also announcing that Kenneth Branagh has joined the cast, with production now underway.

Brent Lang Executive Editor of Film and MediaKenneth Branagh, fresh off the Oscar-nominated success of “Belfast,” will reunite with Christopher Nolan on “Oppenheimer.” The two have previously teamed up on “Dunkirk” and “Tenet.” Branagh will play an unspecified role in the ambitious and pricey look at J. Robert Oppenheimer and his role in creating the atomic bomb. Branagh recently starred in “Death on the Nile” and earned Academy Award nods for directing, producing and writing “Belfast.” Universal Pictures and Syncopy also announced Tuesday that principal photography has commenced on the film and revealed a moody first look of star Cillian Murphy as J.

Ryan Thomas and Tina O’Brien’s daughter Scarlett Thomas had landed an exciting, new role in Waterloo Road. Scarlett will play her uncle Adam Thomas’ daughter Izzy in the BBC One show, which was recently recommissioned for an 11th series.Taking to Instagram to announce the news, both Ryan and Tina shared posts to say how “proud” they were and how “special” the 13 year old’s new venture is.

The news was announced Monday during Disney Branded Television’s session at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour. On the “Beauty and the Beast” (working title) prequel, Ora will star as “a fugitive with surprising abilities who carries with her a secret that could potentially affect an entire kingdom.” She joins a cast that includes Josh Gad, Luke Evans, Briana Middleton, Fra Fee and Jelani Alladin.Gad also serves as an executive producer and co-showrunner, along with Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.

Halsey has shared a new music video for her song ‘Girl Is A Gun’, which takes place in a colourful period drama setting.The track is taken from the star’s latest album, ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’, which was released in August 2021.The video was directed by Colin Tilley and features Halsey dressed in a big purple and green wig and voluminous, corseted green dress. Joined by a gaggle of female friends, they bowl around the streets of an old-fashioned town, drinking, dancing and knocking over apple carts.Towards the end of the video, they ride out of town on horses, with only Halsey shown at its conclusion, standing precariously at the edge of a rocky cliff.
