Gorka Marquez fans share their 'hope' as he heartbreakingly admits to 'last' with Gemma Atkinson and two children

Fans of Gorka Marquez have flooded him with their 'hope' after he shared a heartbreaking moment with fiancee Gemma Atkinson and their two children. The Strictly Come Dancing star has been open and honest about having to leave behind his young family as he gets to work on the new series of the dance show.
Gorka, 33, was seen back in the ballroom on Saturday night (September 16) as fans of the BBC One dance competition discovered which celebrity had been paired with which professional dancer for the first time ahead of the 2023 run of competition really starts this Saturday (September 23).
Fans watched as Gorka surprised Nikita Kanda on the roof of the BBC building as she waited for her professional dance partner to arrive. The radio and TV presenter revealed her family’s reaction to her taking part in the show, saying: "My mum cried, she was so happy, it’s made everyone feel good and have a bit of a smile on their face."

When asked about her dancing skills by Claudia, Nikita said: "I am a party animal but when it comes to choreography that’s what I’m here to learn… I need to learn some new skills, I’m just like one arm up in the air". Gorka went on to reveal during the pre-recorded launch show that their first dance will be the Waltz and that their team name is 'Gorkita'.
