Gisele Bündchen leans on years of co-parenting with Tom Brady’s ex Bridget Moynahan to guide own divorce

Gisele Bündchen said she and Bridget Moynahan have forged a "great relationship" that started as a "challenging" situation when the "Blue Bloods" actress found out she was pregnant with Tom Brady’s child after he started dating Bündchen.  The former Victoria’s Secret supermodel and the Super Bowl champion had only been together a couple months in 2007 when the athlete told Bündchen his ex was expecting.  Bündchen, 42, called it a "challenging situation for all of us," but said Moynahan, 51, and Brady’s son Jack, 15, became her "bonus child" and made her realize how much she wanted children of her own.  "Jack came into our lives, and I felt so blessed. And it kind of awakened in me this desire of being a mom," Bündchen told Vanity Fair in an interview published Wednesday.

Reggae Icon Jimmy Cliff on the 50th Anniversary of ‘The Harder They Come’ and Its Offshoot Stage Musical

A.D. Amorosi In 1972, director-writer Perry Henzell released his Jamaican crime flick “The Harder They Come” with singer-songwriter Jimmy Cliff — then, a burgeoning reggae star — as its anti-hero lead actor. For his menacing cinematic debut, Cliff provided the lion’s share of the film’s riveting soundtrack, with lilting songs such as “You Can Get It If You Really Want” and the movie’s title tune. Both the soundtrack and film (the latter released in the United States in 1973) became sensations. “The Harder They Come” brought island culture to the world beyond the Caribbean, and helped popularize reggae in the Americas. Along with his anthemic title song becoming an instant classic, Cliff’s “Many Rivers to Cross” was subsequently covered by Linda Ronstadt, John Lennon and Annie Lennox, among other artists. Along with being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010, the Library of Congress deemed Cliff’s “The Harder They Come” worthy of preservation in the National Recording Registry as of 2021.

New Order join calls for government to scrap US visa changes

New Order have backed the #LetTheMusicMove campaign against proposed changes to US visa rules that would impact touring artists.Last month saw the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announce that it was planning to raise touring visa fees for foreign acts by more than 250 per cent. The DHS said in its proposal that applications for a P visa, which is for acts arriving in the states to perform temporarily, would increase from the current rate of $460 (£375.23) to $1,615 (£1,317). Meanwhile, the longer-term O work visa would jump from $460 (£375.23) to $1,655 (£1,349).Numerous musicians have since spoken out against the plans, saying that it would be “a huge hardship to pay such high visa fees”.
