Gogglebox’s Izzi Warner was joined by her two children, Bobby and Bessie, in Friday night’s episode. Schedules across all TV channels have been altered significantly since the Queen’s sad death on Thursday but in a bid to provide “continuity” for viewers, Channel 4 decided to screen its series premiere as planned. The episode delighted fans, and saw the gang giving their verdict on a typically eclectic collection of shows, including E4 hit Married At First Sight UK and dark comedy Bad Sisters. While Gogglebox aired as planned, Friday’s TV schedules saw programmes including This Morning and Loose Women replaced with rolling news coverage.
