Gogglebox favourite Pete McGarry dies aged 71

Gogglebox has paid tribute to show's star Pete McGarry during Friday night's (July 2) episode of the celebrity spin-off. At the end of the episode, an in-memoriam card appeared on screen, portraying Pete and his wife Linda McGarry on the sofa from which they recorded the show, smiling at each other.

Gogglebox producers have paid a touching tribute to one of the shows late co-stars and fan favourites Pete McGarry after his sudden death at the age of 71 was announced on Tuesday 29 July.
