Alastair Campbell accidentally "announced" that Queen Elizabeth had died in a huge blunder on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday 12 May, before apologising. The former Labour spin doctor was announced as a guest host to replace controversial presenter Piers Morgan following his explosive exit in March after making remarks about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex over their Oprah chat.
