ITV’s Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid has been defended by fans after a troll took to Twitter to describe her as “chunky”. The popular presenter, 51, had taken to her Twitter to share an article about herself in comparison to legendary actress Joan Collins.
The troll took to the comments to say: “Have you put on some weight? You are looking very chunky.” Susanna was quick to respond to the jibe and very simply replied: “Yes.” GMB news correspondent Katy Rickett was quick to offer her opinion on the comment. She wrote: “Why do people think this is ok?! I had one “oh isn’t your nose big from the side?” When on calendar… you look gorgeous susanna and the fact this person is a cartoon pic says it all #stepawayfromtnekeypad".

My 4 year old granddaughter gets this so if your emotional intelligence doesn't match that of a 4 year old you really are struggling with life." While a second penned: “Honestly people need to take a long hard look at their judgemental selves and the potential impact of their words! It appears they have nothing better to do with their lives. You look absolutely beautiful Susanna.” And a third added: “liked your reply susanna, but it is a shame in this age and with everything happening that this "person" thinks its ok to make that comment.

Susanna Reid was on the verge of tears as she hailed Deborah James as "inspirational" following the BBC podcast host's emotional goodbye post. In a heartbreaking post shared on her Instagram on Monday evening, 40 year old Deborah, who was diagnosed with bowel cancer five years earlier, revealed that her "body isn't playing ball" and that she'd been moved to hospice care at home.
Susanna Reid made a dig at Boris Johnson on Good Morning Britain by referencing that infamous quip about Lorraine Kelly. Last week, the 51 year old presenter interviewed the Prime Minister and at the end of the interview she was left baffled as he had no idea who Lorraine was.
Lorraine Kelly joked Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid should be Prime Minister following her grilling interview of Boris Johnson.
It appears Boris Johnson may not be a regular ITV viewer as he suffered an awkward moment at the end of his interview with Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain.
