The Originals star Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Hustle actor Adrian Lester and Star Trek's Simon Pegg have joined the cast of a brand new Channel 4 thriller series about the battle against a cyber attack. Channel 4 and production company Peacock have commissioned six-part series The Undeclared War, which has been directed and co-written by multiple BAFTA winner Peter Kosminsky, who directed Wolf Hall and The State.

Robert Fletcher, a costumer designer whose more than six decades of credits on screen and the Broadway stage included the first four Star Trek films, died April 5 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was 98.

Schitt's Creek continued its dominant awards season haul by picking up another prize, the latest acquired Thursday night during the 32nd annual GLAAD Media Awards. It was the beloved series' second straight award from the media watchdog organization and it follows top prizes at the Emmy Awards, Golden Globes and the recent Screen Actors Guild Awards.

GLAAD Media Awards was all about celebrating diversity and representation, as celebrities, social media stars and activists stood up for racial justice and continued the fight for equal representation for the LGBTQ community.The night's host, actress and producer, Niecy Nash, introduced herself as the show's new gay, pansexual and then queer host, before deciding not to label herself at all.

Paramount+ has handed Star Trek: Lower Decks an early renewal for a 10-episode third season, before the animated series returns for its sophomore season this summer.
