Georgia Harrison has admitted she will always fear being secretly recorded during sex after the Stephen Bear revenge porn ordeal.
The former Love Island star has spoken candidly about the effect the horrific situation has had on her after Bear, 33, uploaded videos of the pair having sex in his garden to his OnlyFans page without her consent. The disgraced reality star is serving a 21-month jail sentence for voyeurism and two counts of 'revenge porn' after uploading the illicit footage online.
Georgia admitted she spiralled into a dark depression following the incident and says the trauma has impacted her relationship with men to this day. "It's definitely impacted the way I deal with intimate situations," she told MailOnline.
"Especially if I find myself in a relationship where it is going to become intimate or sexually active, I will always have this fear in the back of my head. Even though I feel safe, I think 'Is there a camera? Is someone recording me?'".
She added: "I always have this hypersensitivity. It's definitely affected me with future relationships. I'm doing my best to work through it."
The 28-year-old admits she is in therapy following her ordeal and is doing everything she can to 'get rid of the trauma patterns'. Georgia says the imprisoned star destroyed her confidence so much she found herself in a toxic pattern in relationships with men who 'don't value my worth'.
'It bleeds into other relationships and I worry because it lowered my self worth so much that I'm naturally attracted to people that don't value my worth,' she told the publication. "That's something that I'm really trying to shake off."
Bear was sentenced to 21 months on Friday, March 3 after he was found guilty of sharing the footage on
