James Tindale has shared some behind the scenes secrets about the Geordie Shore house that many fans of the show will be surprised about. People have seen the likes of James, 32, Charlotte Crosby, Gary Beadle and Vicky Pattison spend the first few years of their adult lives in the Newcastle-based party pad.
Geordie Shore viewers will know post-night out takeaways are a common occurrence in the house, but a hankering for a midnight snack isn’t the only thing playing a part in their dietary choices because, even if they did want to cook, they have no knives to use... Explaining the strange house rule that sees them knives and scissor-less, James told OK!: “The house has been baby proofed.There’s no sharp edges and, fun fact, there are actually no knives or scissors in the house.
"There’s nothing like that so if we’re cooking, we have to be like ‘oh we need some utensils’. It’s crazy isn’t it? So I think that’s why the majority of the time everyone’s lived off takeaways as it’s just easier.” He added: “I don’t know if it’s just a TV protocol or something, but as long as I remember there’s never been any sharp objects in the house.” Discussing the house’s infamous stairs – where many arguments have taken place – James also revealed: “There used to be glass on the staircase, you know the panelling? It’s now plastic.
