Former The Only Way is Essex star Gemma Collins has revealed that she is ‘not using contraception’ with her boyfriend, Rami Hawash, as they try for a baby. Speaking exclusively in this week's new! magazine, the 41 year old tells all on her and Rami's plans for children of their own. Gemma explained: “We said to Tristan [Rami’s son from a previous relationship] the other day, 'Do you want a little brother or a little sister?’ and he goes, 'Brother!' "But, basically I can’t really start trying until September.
I don’t have a day off until the end of July and I need to find a fertility clinic that’s going to help me." Gemma continued: "I might have to go on Clomid [medication for fertility].
We haven’t been using anything and it’s not happening, so I’m going to need a bit of help with it. It needs to happen ASAP." Gemma recently shut down rumours that she is currently engaged to Rami, although she was previously engaged to him before splitting and then getting back together. She told us: "Basically, he did buy me an engagement ring years ago and it is beautiful.
And every now and then I dust it off and wear it, but we’re not officially engaged. "I’m a free spirit, honey! I won’t tie the knot until I’m about 50. I’m an eternal free spirit.
I’ll be in Hollywood by then, darling, so it’s best not to... I never think long-term. It’s always like I live for each day! In the same interview, Gemma spoke with pride about being stepmum to Rami’s three year old son Tristan, and her relationship with Tristan’s mum, Rami’s ex-wife Fernanda.
