Gary Neville has insisted that Manchester United should jump at the chance to sign Harry Kane if the opportunity ever arose - but has accepted that it won't happen anytime soon.
The Tottenham Hotspur and England striker is widely regarded as the best No.9 in the world, with his record in recent seasons speaking for itself. He has been linked with a move away from Spurs over the last few years and was the subject of huge interest from Manchester City last summer.

Asked if United should sign Kane if they ever found themselves in with a chance, Neville told Sky Sports : "100 per cent if you could get him. I said at the start of last season, he's gold. I've worked with him for four years - he's absolute gold.
"He's never ever going to let you down. He's reliable, even if he misses a chance or two.
