A gang of drug dealers have been found guilty of plotting to use a team of fake police officers to rob and torture an elderly businessman in his 80s.
Conversations about the terrifying plot were uncovered after police inserted secret listening devices at an industrial unit in Openshaw.
Officers raided the premises and made arrests hours before the robbery had been planned to take place.

prison officers as they finished their shift at a prison.One officer required medical attention at hospital after being hit on the arm while the other managed to leap out of the way as the gang ploughed a car through a barrier and attempted to run him down.The group also smashed windows at the visitors centre at HMP Forest Bank in Agecroft, Salford, before fleeing the scene of the incident.According to Manchester Evening News, the incident occurred two weeks ago but details of the attack have
