Olebe most recently was managing director for the games partnerships team for Google Play, where he and his team worked with games developers and publishers worldwide to help them build experiences on Google Play. Olebe will start in the role of global head of gaming at YouTube later in 2022. He will report to Tara Walpert Levy, YouTube’s VP of Americas, who oversees content partnerships, a Google rep said. A group of Orthodox Jews in New York City are suing the state’s new law banning carrying a firearm in a house of worship and arguing that it essentially makes them "sitting ducks." The Jewish congregation in Midwood, Brooklyn, in a suit organized by the New York State Jewish Gun Club in Rockland County, filed the lawsuit on September 29 objecting to the state’s Concealed Carry Improvement Act signed by New York Democratic Gov.
