High street bakery giant Greggs recently announced that many of its stores will extend their opening hours into the late evening.
It also introduced a brand new evening menu which would be served from 4pm onwards across select stores. Some of the new items on the evening menu include a customisable pizza with a choice of Chargrill Chicken, Mexican Chicken, pepperoni, red, onion, jalapenos, and mixed peppers.
Other items include Southern Fried Potato Wedges, Spicy BBQ Chicken Bites, Southern Fried Chicken Goujons or Vegan Southern Fried Chicken-Free goujons. A meal deal bundle is also available which includes a boxed pizza, sharing wedges, and a hot sweet treat.

Announcing the news on social media, Greggs said: "Yep, you heard us right, now loads of Greggs shops are open even later. And what’s more, there’s new pizzas and hot desserts, as well as your usual favourites." The wedges, BBQ bites and goujons can be found in all 'hot to go' units while all hot desserts are available in open-late locations.
Meanwhile, the customisable pizzas will only be available on Click + Collect via the Greggs app on iOS and Android devices.
