A man who died in a horror house fire on Halloween has been named by police. Peter Scott, from Brydekirk, Annan, tragically died in the incident on Monday, October 31.

A further four teenagers have been charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder in Kilmarnock.
Police were called to Soulis Street in the Ayrshire town at around 6.15pm on Monday, October 24. A 14-year-old boy was found with serious injuries.
He was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow to receive treatment. His condition was described on Tuesday as serious but stable.
Four males, two aged 14 and two aged 16, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. They are due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Thursday, October 27.
A 17-year-old had previously been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged attempted murder. The youth, who cannot be named due to his age, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court today.
He made no plea to the charges of assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, danger of life and attempted murder.
The suspect was remanded in custody and will appear in the dock within the next eight days.
