Sarah Lancashire was back in character as she was spotted filming the final series of Happy Valley after six years off screen.
The Coronation Street legend looked ready for action back in front of the cameras as no-nonsense police sergeant Catherine Cawood for the third installment of the BAFTA-winning BBC drama.
Oldham actress Sarah, who played Raquel Wolstenhulme in Corrie from 1991 to 1996, received a BAFTA for Leading Actress in her role as anguished Catherine as she fights crime in the Yorkshire borough of Calderdale.

Creator Sally Wainwright has penned six new episodes which will be the final chapter of the Happy Valley story.
James Norton and Siobhan Finneran are also confirmed to return for series three.

In series three when Catherine discovers the remains of a gangland murder victim in a drained reservoir it sparks a chain of events that unwittingly leads her straight back to Tommy.
Her grandson Ryan is now 16 and still living with Catherine, but he has ideas of his own about what kind of relationship he wants to have with the man Catherine refuses to acknowledge as his father.

Series two, aired in 2016, attracted an average audience of 9.3 million and the first two series each won BAFTA television awards for both Best Drama Series and Best Writer: Drama for Sally.
