First Lady Dr. Jill Biden to meet Queen Elizabeth

The royal family honored multiple generations of dads on social media Sunday to commemorate Father’s Day.  Queen Elizabeth kicked things off by sharing a rather old, black-and-white photo on her official Instagram account that shows the monarch with three generations of important fathers in her life.

Queen Elizabeth, 95, has met with President Joe Biden, 78, and First Lady Jill Biden, 70, for tea at Windsor Castle. The British monarch hosted the couple on June 13, after meeting briefly at a reception two days prior. It marked Biden’s first sit-down with the Queen since his inauguration as President of the United States, and the royal’s first major engagement since her late husband Prince Philip passed away.

Queen Elizabeth held a special Trooping the Colour ceremony at Windsor Castle.The annual event, which marks her official birthday, was celebrated on Saturday, with a military parade in the quadrangle of the castle.

After commemorating the late Prince Philip's 100th birthday this week, Queen Elizabeth has reunited with her royal family members for the first time since her beloved husband's funeral on April 17 at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

US President instructed his senior diplomat in London to deliver an official dressing down of UK’s Brexit Minister Lord Frost in a rare diplomatic move between allies. US President flew into the UK on Wednesday night for his first overseas visit since entering the White House, Biden’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan warned that the president harbours “very deep” concerns over the Brexit border dispute in Northern Ireland.
