Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, has admitted that she spoils the late Queen's Corgis, as she proclaimed herself "their favourite". Fergie and Prince Andrew, both 63, adopted the two dogs, named Muick and Sandy, after the Queen passed away in September 2022.The dogs were originally a gift from Prince Andrew to his mother, the Queen, during lockdown in 2021, as a way to cheer up the late monarch when her husband, Prince Phillip, was in hospital, shortly before his death in April of that year.
The dogs, who in heartbreaking scenes were spotted outside Windsor Castle as the Queen's coffin arrived in procession from London, now live at the Royal Lodge on the Windsor estate with Prince Andrew and Sarah. Despite splitting in 1992 and divorcing in 1996, Sarah and Andrew have remained on great terms, and they still live together at Royal Lodge, albeit in separate quarters of the sprawling property.
Speaking to Hello! about taking care of the late Queen's dogs, Sarah said: "The corgis are very nice and very polite and well trained. "I am their favourite but everybody always says it’s just because I feed them gravy bones.
I love everything about them and I spoil them the most." Originally, Andrew gifted the Queen two dogs - a dorgi and a corgi - in 2021, and she sweetly named the dorgi Fergus and the corgi Muick (pronounced Mick). Sadly, Fergus passed away at just five months old, as the monarch was dealing with the devastation at the death of her beloved husband, Prince Phillip.
Prince Andrew and his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, gifted the Queen a new corgi on her official 95th birthday in 2021, which came whilst she was still in official mourning of Prince Phillip's death. Meanwhile, it's reported
