DJ Fatboy Slim has announced a national tour with two gigs in Manchester's O2 Victoria Warehouse in early 2023.
The British superstar DJ, whose hits include Praise You, Right Here Right Now and The Rockafeller Skank, has announced a major UK tour with stops in Newcastle, Birmingham Edinburgh, Brighton, London, Cardiff and Bournemouth, as well as two dates in Manchester in March 2023.
Tickets will be available from 9.30am on Friday, September 23. Meanwhile O2 Priority customers will have access to an exclusive pre-sale from 9.30am on Wednesday, September 21.
The DJ, whose real name is Norman Cook, has been a British music icon for more than two decades and is celebrating the launch of his new album, Right Here, Right Then.
Making the announcement Cook said: “Coming out of Covid I have played many different types of shows from arenas to the Gas Tower at Glastonbury and I just find the closer I am to the audience the more I love it. This is what this tour brings.”
The announcement of this latest tour comes hot on the heels of the release of Right Here, Right Then, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the infamous Big Beach Boutique event which saw a quarter of a million people converge on the beach in Brighton for a free party widely believed to be the biggest gig the UK has ever seen.
Cook headlined and conceived of the main event and became synonymous with it. He previously reached number one as part of both The Housemartins' Caravan of Love and Beats International's Dub Be Good to Me.
