A family who moved to Manchester for a 'better quality of life' woke up to the grim discovery that burglars had raided their house in the middle of the night and taken everything with them.

Franklin Zambrano, who is from Spain but moved to Wythenshawe two months ago, woke up at around 7am on Sunday morning and went downstairs - where he saw the kitchen window wide open.
