Two years ago, Jasper Hounslow was a typical four-year-old boy.
A 'cheeky chappie' who was always smiling and making his family laugh, he was just months from starting primary school.
Little did his loved ones know that their lives were about to change overnight.
In March 2020, Jasper suffered a major seizure which left him unable to walk, talk or eat.

He was eventually diagnosed with a rare and severe form of epilepsy known as Dravet Syndrome.
Two years on and his condition has barely improved.
"It's been absolutely devastating for all of us," said Jasper's grandmother, Gaynor Turner.
"It happened overnight so it has been really difficult to come to terms with.
"You can't comprehend or accept it.
"We assumed he would come through it, but he is still the same."
Jasper was just six months old when he suffered his first seizure.
As they gradually grew worse, he was forced to spend increasing amounts of time in hospital.
It was during one such stays on March 2 that Jasper suffered a seizure lasting for more than two hours.
Medics at Stepping Hill Hospital were unable to stop the attack, so Jasper was ventilated and transferred to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
He spent two weeks in the hospital's intensive care unit.
When Jasper eventually woke up, it did not take his loved ones long to realise that something had changed.
"He was a very different little boy," said Ms Turner.
"He couldn't sit up, communicate or walk.
"Before this, Jasper was a happy, normal little boy, meeting all his milestones.
"He was very funny and full of character."
