Euphoria season 3 is officially in the works. HBO announced on Friday, February 4 that the Emmy-winning drama (and occasional comedy) had been renewed for another season. This news doesn't exactly come as a surprise, considering the series becomes the talk of the Internet after each new episode drops.
I mean, if the fan theories that are true…that drama alone could fuel ten more seasons' worth of content. Euphoria is also a ratings hit—per a press release from HBO, the season 2 premiere was the most-viewed episode of an HBO series ever on HBO Max with more than 14 million viewers. "We couldn’t be more honored to work with this gifted, wildly talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them into Season 3.“So, what do we know about this new development? Here you go: Not sure! HBO hasn't revealed when filming will begin for the next season, but we'll keep you posted when we find out. In the meantime, prepare yourself for the season 2 finale, which airs on Sunday, February 27.Considering Sam Levinson created, wrote, directed, and executive produced the first two seasons, it seems safe to say he'll return to oversee the drama.
As for the cast, that remains up in the air. Zendaya serves as an executive producers on the series and leads the cast, so that her character will die of an overdose do seem unlikely. As of right now…not a lot.
